The assessment was commissioned by BETA for Community Development as the lead agency in partnership with Rural Water and Sanitation Support Agency (RUWASSA) in collaboration with the State Department for Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC), State clusters (GBV and Protection). The assessment aimed at highlighting the key effects/impact of the floods that were experienced in Eastern Equatoria State between October and November 2019 with a more focus on GBV and protection issues. The assessment mainly utilized qualitative methods of data collection including; Key informants, Focus Group Discussions and structured observation at household level.
