The independent review was funded by the Dutch Government and commissioned by Euro Consult Mott MacDonald under the Water for Lakes Project. The main objective of the assessment was to establish the status of CLTS in the target payams and propose possible recommendations and strategies for sanitation promotion improvement. The study employed a descriptive cross-sectional technique in which only qualitative methods were applied. Data was collected from four Payams of; Matengai, Amongpiny and Cueibet. Data was collected through FGD’s, Structured observations, In-depth Interviews with household heads, Key informant Interviews and a plenary workshop session with CSO Hygiene Promotion Trainers.
